1930s Egyptian Revival Sterling Silver Scarab Bracelet

$ 175.00

Who could be bugged by this vibrant Egyptian Revival sterling silver glass scarab bracelet? Representing the concept of rebirth and renewal, the scarab is a classic image in Egyptian Revival jewelry. What is especially interesting about this piece is the distinctly Art Deco interpretation of the traditional scarab motif; it's Cleopatra meets Daisy Buchanan. This piece features five molded glass scarabs, in black, rust, cobalt blue, green, and purple, set in sterling silver. Each scarab is connected by two flat, linear incised links and a jump ring. The bracelet is joined by a spring ring clasp marked sterling.
